Using Crisco to Grease a Cast Iron Pan
Don't look now, but here's yet another video on cleaning cast iron! I simply give this pan a scrub under hot water, with a chain mail scrubber. Then we place it on the stovetop, turn on the heat, and let it dry out completely. Then, simply wipe a very thin coating of Crisco onto the pan, top and bottom. Let it cool off, and we're done.
