Calculate the mean by sharing
Learn how to calculate the mean of a set of numbers with fair-sharing. This method has two big benifits: it helps you develop an intuitive understanding of the mean, and it helps you calculate means with mental math!
It's not a perfect method, though. If you have a lot of numbers, or they're not "nice" numbers,
I'll show you how to do it with four examples, and I'll use a visual (little blocks) for each one. I'll also show you an example for which this method is NOT practical.
