(4:07)- (4:54) Sticky notes
(0:03) Okay, hopefully you can see this. (0:08) Hello everyone, I am here to talk to you
about and show you how to set up and introduce your journey map. (0:22) So when it
comes to your journey map, when you come to set up in the classroom and or
boardroom, you want to make sure you're early enough to set up everything because it
does take a little time to even set up everything.
(0:44) So for ours, we were in a classroom with whiteboards. The whiteboards weren't
big enough to do the whole thing on one whiteboard, so we split it off between two of
the swimlanes with all four phases on each whiteboard. (1:04) So you want to go with
and put in the swimlanes.
So we'll go here, we got phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, and then phase 4. (1:39) And then
what you'll do is you'll do two of your phases at a time. So for ours we did the first
phase was doing, well the first swimlane was doing, and then the second swimlane was
pains and gains. (2:44) And you'll set it up just like this with the feelings, opportunities,
and ideas.
These will also be different depending on what you're doing for your assignments. (2:57)
I will leave this up here so you can see it. But I'm going to now talk about how to
introduce everything and stuff.
(3:08) First off, you want to make sure you introduce yourself and your teammates. And
then you want to explain exactly what you're collecting and why you're collecting it.
(3:28) And you also want to make sure they really know that the number that they get,
they need to put it on their sticky notes so that you can collect the data correctly.
(3:45) And then you want to make sure you explain exactly what you want in each phase
and each swimlane. Also you want to make sure you are handing out the papers and the
sticky notes in the beginning. (4:07) So I would have someone handing out the paper at
the door as soon as they come in.
And then have someone during your setup time make sure that all the sticky notes are
in piles for how much they need of each one. (4:27) So that you can easily hand all the
sticky notes out they need. They can obviously get more sticky notes if they need it.
It will depend on how much neutrals they need. (4:41) Like if it was very neutral or it was
very pain or more gains when it came to the different phases. (4:54) I hope this serves
you well and thank you so much for listening.
