Today we’re taking a look at the Arctic P14 A-RGB fans courtesy of Arctic. The P14s are finally offered in white with ARGB lighting for those of us building white themed gaming builds. These fans feature 12 digital addressable LEDs in the center of the fan. This creates a nice lighting effect when installed in systems where you can see the lighting pattern on the fins of the fan. The P14 PWM PST A-RGB fans do support zero RPM mode where the motherboard can completely spin the fan down if the system temperatures are in check. When you’re gaming or working though, the fan starts spinning up at 5% speed or 200 rpm all the way to 1900rpm producing a maximum airflow of 68.9cfm at a static pressure of 2mm to h20. On my Ryzen 3900XT test system, I ran these fans at both 50% and 100% then measured the total system sound output at 28.3dba for the 50% test and 38.9dba for the 100% fan test. All other fans were kept at 50% during both tests and my sound floor is about 26 to 26.5dba measured on my phone. While I don’t have a white themed gaming build, I can see how a 140mm variant of this fan would really appeal to someone who needs a change from the standard black gaming build. These ARGB P14s have 6 year warranties and come with 400mm long pwm splitter cabling as well as 450mm long 3 pin 5v splitter cabling.
