Today we're taking a look at the GTX 1050 Ti in the Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail benchmark. The GTX 1050 Ti was once one of the go to budget gaming GPUs and there's quite a few of them out there so I was curious to see how well it would do in this benchmark. All of the benchmark testing for this was done on my Ryzen 7700X test system, it’s got 32gb of DDR5-6000, using the ASRock x670e PG Lightning motherboard powered by the be quiet straight power 12 1000w PSU all inside of the be quiet dark base 800 FX, thanks to be quiet for providing the be quiet hardware. As for the testing scenarios, we have 4 up on screen right now. All 1080p, the upper left corner is 1080p Standard quality with no upscaling, so native quality. The upper right hand corner is 1080p Standard quality with FSR set to always on. In the bottom left corner, we have 1080p Desktop High with no upscaling, and we have 1080p Desktop High with FSR always on in the bottom right hand corner. I did test 1440p a little but the GTX 1050 Ti does not have enough horsepower in my opinion to really handle 1440p well, its a solid 1080p GPU for Final Fantasy 14.
