Today we're taking a look at the Allpowers R600 portable power station. Thanks to Allpowers for sending this kit over for review. The R600 features a lithium iron phosphate battery for energy storage. It has a maximum output of 600w and a capacity of 299 watt hours meaning you can plug in up to 600 watts worth of electronics total while the battery can output about 299 watts continuously for 1 hour or 30 minutes for 600 watts. This is a super nice budget friendly way to get some backup power in your house or in an RV for example. The R600 includes the main power station and it comes with a 100watt solar panel so you can keep recharging the battery throughout the day. As for power outputs, on the front of the power station we have a 12 volt 10amp car adapter, two 110v outlets which can supply a combined maximum of 600w of AC power, 2 100watt USB-C ports and 2 USB type A 18watt ports.

There is even a wireless Qi charger built into the top of the power station so you can charge another device wirelessly, just turn on the USB power. This is a great mix of AC and DC ports in my opinion, you can power a few lights or some small appliances or in my case, a laptop and some monitors while you recharge your smartphone while you collect some free solar energy, very, very cool. The R600 also has a digital screen to read out the total level of battery charge, current power draw, any power input you have recharging the device, and an estimated run time. Having a device like this can definitely make not having power for a short period of time more bearable. I know where I live, I get a spring and fall season with wind and rain and a nice winter season where I might get a little snow or I might get 6 feet of snow in a day. This unit is perfect for keeping my laptops charged up and topping off my S24 Ultra. Combining the solar panel, this becomes super handy setup for me since I do tend to lose power for a few minutes sometimes even an hour or two when the rain gets heavy here.
