TAD came from the backdrop of hard realities of the design process. The architectural practice environment at Navi Mumbai where I worked was relentlessly unforgiving. I needed to have an efficient system that would truly assist me, instead of a sycophant wanting to impress me. Running an office when also becoming empathetic to my users is a tough balancing act. I hardly had time to sit and concentrate on my design as there are so many things to attend to. So whatever little time I had, I did not need a cloying design system with pretty pictures! When I was working as an associate for Hafeez Contractor, I had learned the importance of understanding all this deeply.

Walt Whitman; being the great poet that he was, had expressed it succinctly: Architecture is what you "do" to it! It is not in pretty cornices and colors!

I have been making these series of videos where I try to explain the real issues that an architects faces. And how TAD really frees the architect from mundane softare related issues. This one explains how the Undo/Redo system works in a non-linear, object oriented manner. In an another one I explain how the AI inside TAD helps keep the linguistic clarity of the design representation free from corruption so that TAD is always available at a beck-and-call for all kinds of calculations.

Please do try out TAD and give me your feedback. It is free. www.teamtad.com Please also share this far and wide. Thanks!
