Second chapter in using TAD: Precision in positioning
This video follows up on the earlier video where I had made a design by eyeballing three rooms. (Please see the earlier video before this one: • First steps with TAD ) In this video, I will show how you can position objects accurately. Crucially, it explains how the "architect" is precisely located at various points on the "site" -- Such "architect's location" is vital to designing in TAD: All creation of shapes and edits in TAD; crucially depend on where the architect happens to be "standing" on the site. This video explains how to use the grid, and how you can control the "architect" precisely. That will will explain how to locate and rotate objects precisely. Note that actual editing of the objects into different shapes will be explained in a forthcoming video; so the shapes themselves are not edited in this video.
