Why is TAD Free ? - Part 2
This part of the set of videos that explain why many software are free nowadays -- and that will lead to the central question, why TAD is free.
In order to deposit value to the world, an individual needs to safeguard the process by weeding out errors. So obviously one important requirement would be that the individual needs to recognize that there was an error that has taken place. In case of the tangible world, one could notice a physical thing (say a plough) which has broken down. Therefore, remedial steps can be taken
But society nowadays depends; not on tangible goods but instead on abstract pieces of knowledge. But our biological evolution is not very equipped to even recognize errors happening in information that we need to use to deposit value. Its too fragile; and we can easily get deceived.
In such a context, it is important that value building is using systems and resources that are themselves subject to scrutiny. So if there is a company that insists on holding secrets, and insists on working from a "hushed" environment; the chances of deceiving the individual user is high.
The information era; luckily, is now using a mechanism called "emergence" which allows participation from many individuals to form a super-organism. One where there is no central control or secrecy. TAD must be looked upon from that context.
