Why is TAD both idealistic and practical?
Architects have a tough job: They need to check everything, workout alternatives and then choose what works best for their project. TAD gives a system that allows use of abductive logic and chooses one from a set of alternatives. So the real hard problems of the world such as energy consumption, water usage, etc can all be tackled. At the same time, TAD is free -- and architects get a second source of revenues: They can lease out their designs to software developers who, in turn, can develop rich graphical space based applications using the "indoor maps" from architects.
