Hey friends, how do you add to or subtract from selections in Adobe Photoshop CC? Well, in this video, we'll be covering how you can do this for all of the selections tools in Photoshop, including the Lasso Tools, Marquee Tools and Magic Wand Tool!

PHOTOSHOP SHORTCUTS
Polygonal lasso tool: L
Add to selection: Hold Shift
Subtract from selection: Hold Option... (Windows: Hold Alt)

✅ VIDEO SUMMARY
This technique is applicable for the Marquee Tools, Lasso Tool, Polygonal Lasso Tool and Magic Wand Tool. It also works on the Quick Selection Tool, except the buttons look slightly different. The shortcuts for the add to and subtract from selection require you to be using a selection tool. You can also use intersect with selection to customise your selections even further!
