I, Timmothy Robinson, was patrolling as a motorbike unit with the California Highway Patrol when my rear-facing radar clocked a BMW motorcycle with the license plate number 154 MPH traveling northbound on Interstate 1. As soon as the vehicle passed me, I activated my emergency lights and sirens. The driver, Billy Jackson, immediately pulled over.
Upon approaching Mr. Jackson and making contact, I found him to be very compliant throughout the stop. However, due to his excessive speed, I had to arrest Mr. Jackson for CVC 23103 (a) Reckless Driving. He remained compliant throughout the traffic stop and the arrest process.
