2024 Pre-Field Season Meeting
The annual pre-field season meeting is open to federal and non-federal partners, researchers, local and Indigenous community members, and anyone else interested in the 2024 research season. We heard lighting-talk presentations from principal investigators leading research expeditions in Alaska and Arctic waters in 2024 followed by group discussion. The meeting supported the exchange of information about planned expedition objectives and facilitated collaborations that leverage these investments in research about the Arctic marine system. It was hosted by the Field Operations, Sea Ice, and Marine Ecosystems communities of practice.
