Hard Case for the DJI FPV Drone

Full Review: https://www.all-things-photography.co...

Note: In my previous video I said that I was selling the DJI FPV drone and I did! However, the *%^&$ that bought it on eBay never paid so he gets a black mark for his trouble. I still have the drone but whilst filming this review, I received a new offer so I may well sell it.

I need the money for the "about to be released I hope" DJI Mavic 3 Pro : )

**CAVEAT** I was sent this for review, I did not buy it (but I would!!!). I only accept products for review that I would either use myself or think my viewers/readers would like and use and yes, I occasionally send products back without reviewing.

This case from RLSoco is what I would call "semi hard". It isn't like a typical SUPER HARD case from Pelican that you can drive a car over for example. However, it is perfect for most drone operators.

I own a number of cases for my camera gear (stills, video and drones) ranging from flimsy to "throw off a roof" tough. I have been using a standard backpack (flimsy) for the DJI FPV drone and it is a pain in the a**.

Since buying the DJI FPV drone, I couldn't find a decent case that would:

1. Allow me to store all the DJI FPV gear well
2. Protect it well from general, everyday knocks, bumps and drops (not throwing off a roof)
3. Allow me to store all parts "ready to go" (props on, goggle antennae on, controller sticks on, battery in the drone etc)
4. Cost around £100 or less

With this case you can pretty much throw it in the boot of your car, turn up to a location, open it up and be ready to fly in minutes. Brilliant.

I missed it in the review but there are slots to hold your spare props in the inner flap and I think the zipped compartment will hold an iPad.

Conclusion

Really well thought out design. Tough. Light. Functional. Practical. Affordable.
