Man this thing is fun to fly but it has to go...and not for the reasons you might think.

I forgot to mention this in the video but the main reason I bought this drone was for a commercial job that I was asked to shoot a while ago. I was hired to create a promo video for some new, super fast ribs that were being produced for launch this summer.

The plan was to become experienced enough at flying FPV so that I could add some FPV clips to the rest of the clips to add that extreme perspective. Sadly when an investor pulled out, the project was scrubbed. I now want to put the money tied up in this drone towards a new lens.

I bought the DJI FPV drone on release as I had been wanting to try it out and get into flying FPV for a while. The experience of flying a drone with goggles is something else. Really exciting.

Add to that the thrill of flying in complete manual with flips and rolls at 90mph and you have an adrenaline overload.

For me, the whole point of flying FPV is to give my clients a new perspective to their footage. Done well, FPV footage is incredible and adds a little "Je Ne Sais Quois" to your project. Something more radical than your standard drone video.

But it takes practice...a lot of practice that I simply don't have time for right now. It also needs a spotter when you fly and it needs more safety measures and precautions that flying "normal" drones.

Those are the reasons for me selling it. I don't have a regular spotter and I simply haven't managed to get to all the places far and wide that I had wanted to fly in.

If you are looking to buy the DJI FPV drone I would highly recommend it. It is easily the best way to get into FPV as you have some very cool safety measures in place such as the "panic" button. This will stop the drone in its tracks from full manual @ 90mph to hovering in "normal" mode on the spot.

I hope this video helps in some way to make a decision as to whether you buy one or not. I will still stay with FPV but will opt for a smaller "Cinewhoop" or iFlight ProTek or Titan.
