The Dolly Zoom Effect is created by moving the camera towards or away from your subjects whilst zooming in or out with the lens.
Sounds difficult? It used to be with film video cameras but now with digital cameras and larger, high resolution sensors, it is much easier.
In fact, using the DJI Mavic 3 or DJI Air 2s with their 5.1k/5.4k sensors, you can even achieve this weird/stunning/impressive/"wow factor" effect in the sky!
In this video, I show you how to do this with the DJI Mavic 3 and how to edit the final output using Vegas Pro 19 (although this can be done in most video editing software titles).
