Shutter speeds on any camera whether it is a Smartphone or DSLR play a crucial part in most photography from nighttime, long exposure landscapes to fast sports and wildlife.
Knowing when to use which shutter speed and to what extent to give the best results takes time and a lot of practice.
Simply put, a fast shutter speed freezes the action and captures less light and a slow shutter speed captures more light and movement.
