Travel Day from Venice Marco Polo Airport 🇮🇹 to Zurich Switzerland🇨🇭! via Swiss Air
Honeymoon day 13!
Today is admittedly boring... just a travel day from Venice Marco Polo airport to Zurich Switzerland!
I think this is helpful for those wondering about the transportation.
We caught the Alilaguna public boat from Rialto (only 15 Euro each), way cheaper than water taxi, but get there early so you can get a seat! It was almost an hour ride, and super choppy weather conditions.
Then we explored Marco Polo Lounge in VCE, before boarding Swiss Air flight to Zurich! We bought our seats just so we could ensure we sat together (pre-bought baggage too!)
At Zurich, we initially wanted to take the train to the city, but it was cheap to just Uber. ~30 CHF to the heart of the city- worth it considering our baggage. Do look out for the proper pickup points & level though, the driver took 5 mins to find us.
We stayed at Hotel Adler - a boutique hotel recently renovated with a famous cheese fondue restaurant below. Good price and good location! Just that it is a car-free zone so we had to walk places/couldn't Uber to the doorstep. Beware of cobblestones! Thankfully our Rimowas were sturdy enough to tank it haha.
Dinner at Zeughauskeller (12k google reviews!) We booked a few weeks beforehand - which was necessary as it was FULL, and we even had to wait, with reservations. They also made their patrons share tables cos that's just how popular it is. Highly recommend cuz they have a large variety of Swiss food to try :) Good service too. My husband came out with a food baby... 👶🏻
Tomorrow is gonna be a FUN day - we are going to CHOCOLATE FACTORY and CLASS (day after too!) -please stay tuned! Promise the vlogs won't be boring anymore.
