We try another One Michelin Star restaurant - Marguerite by Chef Michael Wilson!
This used to be Pollen, nestled inside Gardens by the Bay (next to Marina Bay Sands) Flower Dome!
They have a complimentary buggy service - just text before you reach so that they'll come pick you up!
We booked the private room - here's a hack: it's one of the more affordable Michelin Star restaurants! Each menu is $288++ for dinner, and the min spend for the room (that can sit 10pax comfortably, or up to 12pax) is $3000++. Which is very achievable. Also, they don't differentiate min spend between lunch and dinner, so dinner is pretty worth it.
We came one hour early so we could enjoy the flower dome :) The waiter will guide you to enter through the restaurant - so cool! The share the place with Hortus as well.
Menu was very unique and interesting. They named the dishes very cheekily - like you'd be guessing what is prawn noodles?!?! in a French restaurant?!?! Loved the appetizer selections. Those were our favourite. We were full after the meal. It was more of a unique experience - with them continuously dishing out dish after dish... and taking the time to explain. Service was of course impeccable. It was rather garden-themed for me so I couldn't appreciate much of the veg stuff.
Overall, a good experience for us. Though I think French cuisine is just not my thing hehe.
