Wedding Anniversary TUFTING & JW Marriott South Beach Suite Tour & Lounge Buffet! (plus Babymoon!👶🏻)
Happy Anniversary to us!!!
We have a fun-filled 2 days ahead.
Starting out with Tufting at About You studio located in Sim Lim Square. I researched for one in central area, and more affordable yet bigger option - and booked just 1 day in advance! They whatsapped me to ask me to send in our designs so they can pre-draw it before class. We were lucky as it was quite a private setting so we got quite a lot of attention from the teacher.
Tufting was DIFFICULT but SO FUN! Till today, our rugs are holding up sooo well, and it's great to have something to remember our anniversary by. STRAIGHT LINES are so much easier than curves lolll.
Then we had 3 Meals a Day (also located in Sim Lim Square) - for their famous salted egg chicken rice!! It was PACKED even on 2 pm Sunday. A lot of tourists come as well. You have to order and wait to be seated. Enjoyed the food!!! But we waited for so long... There's another shop nearby selling the same thing haha.
Then we headed to JW Marriott South Beach Hotel - where we used our voucher for a suite. This was nicer than our wedding suite i think! Spacious , 2 toilets etc (very useful lol especially with the amount of free food in the lounge hehe). We decided to take a chill day and just spend the time fully in the hotel - planning our lounge trips to get all the free food - evening and breakfast is good - so we didn't spend a cent on dinner hahaa. Also checked out the pool - though it's collddd and shallow (1.2m). Not that big too.
Next morning of course we woke up bright and early to enjoy breakfast buffet at Beach Road Kitchen. I love the variety here. I am a big eater but even I can't finish everything! This is one of my favourite breakfast buffets.
We also got free celebratory cake and kuehs- all yummy- and balloons too!
