June 15, 2022 aerial update on our Vacaville, CA project.
Pony Express Senior Apartments will be a 60-unit affordable housing complex available to low- and very-low-income seniors and veterans, including 15 units set aside for seniors experiencing homelessness. The 1.82 acre site will include fifty-nine (59) one-bedroom units with 590 sq. ft. and one (1) two-bedroom Manager’s unit with 1,050 sq. ft. All residential units (100%) will be rented to low income, vulnerable seniors with some units exclusively reserved for senior veterans.
The GreenPoint certified buildings will include a photovoltaic system, fully accessible community room with full kitchen, computer room, exercise room, raised community garden beds, and a large dog run. To further serve seniors’ ability to “age in place,” an on-site Wellness Center will be added where healthcare professionals and community members can provide medical, dental or community services necessary for residents.
