Awesome KONE MonoSpace 700 elevators – Radisson Blu Leninsky Prospect, Moscow, RU
This time we've got some fresh Finnish-made KONE DX Class lifts in a brand-new Radisson hotel, first one in the southeast of Moscow. It was opened only a month ago and its building is a part of Novatek HQ, a huge project by Speech architectural office, which was fully completed in 2022. Main building has similar Kone elevators (but with Destination system). Unfortunately, they couldn't be accessed, because of turnstiles.
Now let's go back to the hotel building. Of course, it is public and it has eight floors, two basements and neat looking interior. Three main guest elevators, two parking and four service lifts were installed there in October 2022, a year ago. This post shows only main guest lifts, which are, in my opinion, the most interesting. They have newest KSS 700 fixtures, white dot-matrix indicators inside, satisfying buttons with protruding symbols and numbers and posh-looking LCD indicators outside with Kone Information font. Cabins are designed in dark grey colors, they are simple and nice. Each elevator has got capacity of 13 persons and speed of 1.6 meters per second, which is pretty cool for only eight floors.
As I mentioned in the beginning, these are truly Finnish Kone lifts and, I must say, they feel completely different from China-made ones. However, they also cost much more.
