Changes in the UK Pharmacy University MPharm from 2021
This video looks at how the MPharm pharmacy degree is set to change, and be different to the degree as we have known it. Now, the pre-registration training year has been replaced with a foundation training year, and the year aims to incorporate over the next 5 years the transition to allow pharmacists to qualify as independent prescribers. Time will tell what this means for the current and future cohort of pharmacists, and the next 5 years or so shows a very interesting time for pharmacy in the UK
