First, for location targeting, use "permanent location" only. Using "recent or permanent" can show your ads to people who match your target audience but were temporarily in your targeted locations.

Second, turn off the LinkedIn Audience Network. This prevents your ads from showing on external websites and mobile apps, which typically perform poorly.

Third, be careful with "or" selections when setting up your audience targeting. For example, if you're targeting company sizes and cybersecurity specialists with member skills, using an "or" statement can unintentionally broaden your audience, leading to irrelevant targeting.
