How to take Time machine backup on Mac | step by step guide
Time machine on mac allows users to take hourly backup, weekly and monthly backup. All that you need is an external storage device like-
External hard drive or Airport extreme base station or Time capsule.
I would recommend that you go for minimum 1 Tb size hard disk.
For the following reason i find there time machine is the best alternate for taking backup on mac:
1. If there is no space left after multiple backup on storage device, then the earliest backup is deleted and storage space is automatically created.
2. Backup of additional data is created, so saves time and system resources in subsequent backup.
3. Time machine backup allows to take backup of operating system as well apart from data.
I will suggest you to dedicate a separate hard drive for the purpose of backup.
