How to use Green screen on OBS Studio 2017
Open broadcaster software is an encoding software that helps video creators go live on YouTube or Twitch. It has a chroma key feature that helps to change the background if recorded with green screen in back.
There are two ways you may want to use chroma key feature of OBS:
To change background of pre recorded Green screen video.
To go live with green screen in background.
This tutorial explains examples in both the scenarios. If you need to put image in background, you need to put image as source. If the need is to put video in background then choose video device from sources.
Important tips for good performance of Chroma key in OBS:
Good lighting is a must do activity before you use chroma key.
Media source has to be on the top of sources.
Do ensure to fit the image or background video using transform option as explained in video.
You may want to use green screen or chroma key in OBS in combination with other devices like DSLR or smartphone.
