Welcome to Episode 2 of the Blender and Quixel Mixer helmet texturing series! In this episode, we’ll tackle marking seams on Master Chief’s MK VI GEN3 helmet and establish our UV islands.

By the end of this episode, our helmet will be prepped with optimal UV islands, which we can cleverly pack into our UV space in the next episode with mirrored, non-mirrored, and overlapping UVs to save on space.
