03. How to create parameters table, properties, indexes, relationship and methods in D365 FinOps
The video demonstrates how to create a parameters table for a new module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The training includes adding the fields, including the Key field extending ParameterKey extended data type ensuring a single record by introducing a unique index. Besides, foreign key relationship with a child table is also explained along with properties such as cardinality, related table cardinality, role, relationship type e.g. association, composition and delete actions, such as cascade, restricted, cascade-restricted. Overrides the validateDelete() method to prevent deleting the parameter record once it has been introduced.
