Normatec Compression Technology
Dr. Stephanie Idjadi, PT, DPT, is our Great Neck Clinical Director at Reddy Care Physical, Occupational and Aquatic Therapy. Stephanie and Charlotte demonstrate how the Normatec compression technology works. Normatec Compression technology uses pulsated, sequential pneumatic compression. This is delivered via leg boots and arm sleeves which are similar to a large blood pressure cuff. Patients benefit from increased circulation, reduced lymphedema, increased lactate clearance, relieve muscle soreness and increase mobility at the joint.
About Stephanie Idjadi, PT, DPT
Dr. Stephanie Idjadi, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology. She has done research in Parkinson's Disease and was published in the International Journal of Health Sciences. Stephanie began her career at Reddy Care Physical Therapy as a physical therapy aide. She also supported the marketing team, and worked closely with the owner to bring on a strong Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy team. After graduating in 2015 Stephanie started her career at Reddy Care as a Doctor of physical therapy. Stephanie is the Clinical Director of the Great Neck clinic, she manages a team of therapists and works closely with all departments. In her role, she ensures that clinical care is delivered to the highest standards so that patients can achieve their goals.
