2 liters of water
400 g frozen berries (fresh)
150 g sugar (or to taste)
100 g starch (I have corn starch)
👉 RECOMMENDATIONS:
IMPORTANT: After adding starch, the jelly should not boil, otherwise the starch will lose its thickening properties. Bring to a boil and turn off immediately (but do not boil!).
If you want a very thick jelly, add 150 g of starch (so you can eat it). If you want a thinner (so you can drink it) add 60 g of starch.
The berries can be removed with a strainer before adding the starch and sugar.
Adjust sugar to taste, the sweeter the berries, the less sugar you need to add.
Before pouring in the diluted starch and sugar, stir again (as the starch settles to the bottom!).
To avoid the formation of a thick film, sprinkle the surface of the jelly with powdered sugar or sugar.
