I’m show you how to make ‘Sijang Tongdak’, 시장통닭 it’s a whole fried chicken, you can usually buy it Korean markets. It has a very thin and crispy crust. Inside, the flesh is tender and tasty.

👩‍🍳 Ingredients for 4 people:
Marinade:
1 chicken (3 lb)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp turmeric
1 tbsp grated ginger

Batter :
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp corn flour
A pinch of turmeric
½ tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
2 cups water

All-purpose flour
Oil for frying

Dipping sauce (optional):
1 tbsp gochujang Korean chili paste
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp white rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
½ tbsp sugar
1 garlic clove
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
