What is Audience Expansion on LinkedIn Ads?
When audience expansion is enabled in your LinkedIn Ads campaign, LinkedIn expands your target audience to members with similar profile attributes and behavioral patterns.
In almost all cases, I recommend keeping this off, as LinkedIn may expand the audience to irrelevant job titles that you don't want to target.
If your target audience is less than 1,000 members, you may want to test enabling audience expansion. In that case, you can see if LinkedIn can expand and reach any other members who may be a good fit for your product or service.
