Testicular Hematoma & Microlithiasis || Ultrasound || Case 205
Clinical Features:
A 27 years old male patient came with the history of blunt trauma with wooden particle to the left side of the scrotum.
Ultrasound Features:
Discrete punctate non shadowing hyperechoic foci diffusely scattered throughout the testicular parenchyma bilaterally with comet tail artifacts.
Irregularity of the tunica albuginea with underlying small collection within the anterior margin of the left testis with localized hypervascularity on Doppler & left hemiscrotal mild collection.
Remember:
Clusters of testicular microliths may represent testicular tumor without soft tissue mass.
Clusters of microliths adjacent to solid mass suggest a germ cell tumor.
