Question #10: why do patients travel to see us?
1 We do have what I consider an elite team of eye surgeons, optometrists, nurses, technicians and administrative staff that provides outstanding medical care and customer service.
2 We are experts in premium lens implants. We’ve placed tens of thousands of premium lens implants for our patients and therefore have a thorough understanding of how they work, what their strengths and weaknesses are and will use our experience to help you achieve your best possible vision.
3 We have also removed a lot of lens implants. I personally perform intraocular lens exchange to remove a lens implant that has been previously placed and exchange it for a different implant multiple times per week to help patients see better with a second implant when they were unhappy with their first lens implant placed either by one of our surgeons or another surgeon from another practice. So we have an effective process for helping patients if they are unhappy with their original surgery.
4 We have outstanding facilities. Our ASC and LASIK suite is located at our flagship location in Central Austin.
