Video about an old Dutch Electronics magazine (Radio Electronica 19 november 1953) where, in fact, many modern issues are showed. Say, for instance, the “first” Harddisk, a drum (drum memory with military multi pole connectors) that could store 30000 numbers from 6 digits. That is, by the way, my only information because there is no article here about that cover photograph. Furthermore: an article about (the first) transistors. I suggest/say in the video that the first transistors were there in 1962, but of course that is not true, but I think you can say that the first transistors for hobby/consumer use were limited available in 1962 (in the Netherlands, by the way). Also in 1962 there were already experiments with integrated circuits (!). I bought my first transistor in 1967 (the Germanium OC 13). When you want to make transistors yourself, go to the channel from JERI ELLSWORTH on Youtube, she shows how to make them and that is very interesting when you want to know how transistors work really “from scratch”. She is a genius, subscribe to her channel when you want to get a real good introduction to electronics. Further in this video: the Viddeleer tone control, I published an earlier video about that on my Youtube channel. And a device to “strengthen up” magnets from e.g. analog multimeters (uA meters). Not necessary nowadays (2018) because the magnet technology has developed very substantially since 1953 (say: neodynium and all kinds of high-tech magnetic ferrite or else materials, e.g. developed by Philips in the Netherlands). Such a circuit could be usable for specific purposes. You can make a strong magnet or strengthen up a magnet with the help of a car battery, sending DC through a winding/coil with a super-quality iron or ferrite core. Be sure that you don’t burn anything, including your hands, wiring, etc, use it e.g. for a few seconds.
All the videos hat I have published on You Tube can be found via my Channel Trailer: Link is

In thematic order you can find these video’s under the “comments” section.
My books are also available via Barnes and Noble and via Amazon. Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you can not (!) be sure about the original content (=really working electronics) and important adaptat electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

Be aware of that, I saw on the internet many of my circuits reproduced in a poor or even not proper way. I can not help that, sorry. Upload 7 march 2018.
