Americans may not feel good about the economy, but objectively, big-picture, it’s doing great!

According to figures released by the Commerce Department, the U.S. economy grew by two-point-eight percent in the most recent quarter. That means America remains on track to have one of the best economic performances of any major country this year!

Meanwhile, high inflation – which was largely a post-pandemic phenomenon – is down to only two-point-one percent over the last year!

And though it obviously lands on different people in different ways, since the start of the pandemic, income and earnings HAVE outpaced inflation!

Also, unemployment remains low. Though job growth in October may not match the numbers from September – largely due to the recent hurricanes – it’s still expected to be just four-point-one percent.

Yet none of this good news seems to be reaching the American people. A recent Associated Press poll found that SIXTY-TWO percent of them view the economy as “bad.”
