Hello I’m still alive and making videos! Sort of. I’d been trying to finish one last year but it wasn’t really working. Except for when this idea popped into my head one morning and I finished it in the same day?? It was weird. It took me nine months to post it on here though, oops. I really love Black Sails these days and I actually have another couple of (partly done) projects lined up, but I’m not sure when or if I’ll be posting/finishing them. In the next few years or so. I don’t know, I’m not good at finishing videos anymore. Also Sony Vegas is being super crashy and annoying.

Black Sails is so incredibly good at writing complex characters and relationships, with multiple layers and very different facets, and they also make a habit of having long meaningful scenes with long takes which makes it a terrific show to watch (for me, at least) but kind of a difficult show to edit! My editing skills are obviously quite rusty, and I didn’t want to make this effect heavy or cut certain scenes too short because I think it wouldn’t do their scenes justice. All this is meant to show is the amazing bond they have formed through trust, love and acceptance. Like I said, this is not at all the entirety of their relationship, but I’m having trouble coming up with something that would get all of it in one video. I do want to try though, one day :) Once the final season is out maybe.
