In this video I share and discuss some of my black and white wildlife photos captured in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier park to hopefully inspire other wildlife photographers to also experiment with black and white especially in the kgalagadi. there are three schools of thought when it comes to black and white and that is the group of photographers that capture in black and white only, the group like me that capture in colour and then convert to black and white retaining both files and the last group that capture in black and white through camera that can only capture in black and white such as some Leica's. Black and white wildlife photography is a genre that can grow and has a great potential. Editing black and white images today are also much easier than a few years ago due to the new AI editing software and good recipes of many plugins.
