Thousands gathered in DC in front of the White House, along 16th Street NW and at BLM Plaza, to celebrate their joy at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris being elected to be the next President and Vice President of the USA. Cars and people poured out onto the Capital City's streets -- in every neighborhood, on a beautiful, warm sunny day -- to honk horns, and cheer, and raise their hands in victory. The crowd at the White House danced and chanted, and with "colorful language" and in no uncertain terms, they let the Republican Party know what they thought of their leadership. The White House remained surrounded by high fencing to prevent celebrants from getting near the President. Reportedly, he was away golfing, again, when the news broke.
