First night of using camcorder.

I think it does a good job for the current value. I have never used a camera that got as bright or had as good control over exposure levels.

The zoom is only 10x which is pretty lame, but, oh well, it cost $400, not $5,000. And most HD camcorders have been stuck at 10x or 15x zoom for about 5 years. I don't understand why, though, but I can't wait forever.

The video is very bright here, but it is grainy.

I shot this in the mid-range quality MX+. And translated it between .MTS and .ASF formats once. Then edited it in Movie Maker Live, and saved it as a .WMV file before sending it to YouTube.

I have mixed feelings about the camera so far, but overall, I give it more positives than negatives. For my purposes, I think it will do fine.
