INSANELY CLOSE shots: Space Shuttle Discovery over DC, White House, Capitol, Monuments
Space Shuttle Discovery is flown around Washington, D.C.'s National Mall before it retires nearby at Udvar Hazy Smithsonian Museum. The jet carrying the Shuttle flew by 4 times for photo ops, around the National Mall, over the Potomac and the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Flights out of National Airport stopped for about an hour while the amazing spectacle took place.
