Austria is known for its captivating scenery, especially by the Austrian Alps. One of the most picturesque places is Salzburg that is also well known as the birthplace of Mozart and the setting for the Sound of Music.
Aside from the mighty castle that dominates one of the hills overlooking the city, there are plenty other fine buildings to explore, from a baroque cathedral that has had a very unlucky past, to a huge glass hangar used by Red Bull to house their airshow exhibits
