Puffin Therapy! (Steve Poole)
Stressed? Wound up? Then relax for a few moments with these charming adorable Puffins filmed on the islands of Lunga (Western Isles) and Skomer (Pembrokeshire). They are lovely to watch, with all their mannerisms, lovey-doveyness and squabbles. Puffins spend most of their lives at sea but return to land and their burrows from May to August to breed. They are not afraid of people and are as inquisitive of us as we are of them. They come ashore more when people are about, perhaps because we keep predators like Gulls and Skuas away. Guillemots also nest in huge numbers on an offshore rock, and Shags along the paths. There is a soundtrack but you can always mute it!
