Beginner robot programming using Makeblock's mBot2, also called mBot Neo. In this lesson we use encoder motor blocks to move Neo to make basic shapes.

This series of free kids coding lessons and project ideas teaches basic computer programming concepts, computational thinking, and robot sensor usage. MBot coding uses blocks to build the code. Blocks are good for beginners of any age, as they allow all the concepts to be learned much more quickly than traditional text based coding. Lessons will build on each other as new skills are learned.
The code is developed in the Makeblock app, mBlock, which can be run from a browser or downloaded and installed from https://www.mblock.cc/en/
mBlock uses Scratch 3.0. More about Scratch can be seen here: https://scratch.mit.edu/
