Coding for beginners. Free kids coding lessons to teach basic computer programming concepts and computational thinking. Scratch coding uses blocks to build the code. Lesson 5 uses a variable to change a character’s speed when they jump to simulate gravity. Variables, loops, and scripts are used in this lesson to compare various ways to make a character jump.
