Please read the description first (…).
3 April 2024. Talking about how to make a fierce IR Lantern on 950 nM or 940 nM (= nanoMeter frequency (= light) somewhere in the broad E.M. frequency range) to light up your property in complete darkness, combined with a camera that can pickup (=sensitive to this IR light frequency or spotlight). To see what is happening there, in the dark.
Thanks for all your earlier comments regarding my first video, published 1-2 days ago. That was a little bit distracting/unsure, but not for everyone reading the description/textbox…(!). They understanded what I told there, anyway.

The idea of these video’s was: use a 5 Dollar bodycam as a surveillance cam, with a 16 mB card inside, that overwrites the earlier vids, during the day. Experience: it overwrites files at 75 minutes in this setup with a 16 GB card. Please note: it can handle a 32 GB card.
With the proposed spotlight in this video now (3 April 2024): of course such a spotlight/lantern will take up quite a few Watts, when it is operated constantly during 24h/day.
Say: 10 IR LEDS that need 1.2 Volt at 100 mA constantly = 1.2 Watt. During 24 Hours (1 Day) it is 24 x 1.2 Watt = say 30 Watt. One month= 30 x 30 Watt = say 0.9 Kilowatt.

NB: all these electronics things in the video now (3-april-2024) (watch-over-cam) can be bought quite cheap nowadays, 2024, combined with a smartphone, etc etc, so that you can watch over your property during the day and the night. With visible light sensors and IR sensors.
But this is a hobby channel.....Showing experiments & solutions.
Thus showing ([perhaps) interesting things that you can make by yourself. Say an extra IR spotlight or so, with the help of a good bunch of IR lights on 940 nM bought via Ali. Or make specific places on your properly “lighted out” with the help of a few of these cheap IR diodes on 940 NanoMeter.
NB: when you want to make a supply for such an IR lantern (940 nM-950nM) you need a constant current source. Many of these constant current sources are published on the www.
When you are interested in this case for a constant current source in this lantern/spotlight: comment: I will try to develop a usable one. Can take some time...

When you search, search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview. You can also search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in.
My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there. https://www.lulu.com/search?adult_aud...
I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites, giving not probable re-wiring, etc. Some persons try to find gold via my circuits. I take distance from all these fake claims. I cannot help that these things happen. Upload 3 April 2024.
