Allison Gilbert was a producer with WNBC-TV in New York who was assigned to help cover the events at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. She was struck by debris from a tower and escaped serious injury. Three days later, her father passed away. Having already lost her mother made the situation even more traumatic. But Allison persevered, found writing, and sound on a new path, leaving the TV production world behind in order to focus on helping people harness loss to drive happiness. A great story of resilience!
