1. You simply may not be in a place to get truly intimate with your emotions via yoga so I suggest trying another modality like talk therapy and then returning to this at a later time
2. Different types of emotional release other than crying like yawning, big releasing breaths or even laughter
3. Not holding the pose for long enough
**The most important thing to remember is that there’s no right and wrong. We’re all on different paths and if you’re looking to work through something I highly encourage you to reach out to a therapist and see what other modalities would be the best fit for this season of your life ❤️
