Getting a new tracheostomy tube should be an easy experience. When my tracheostomy tube needs to be exchanged, I should be able to request a new tracheostomy tube from my durable medical equipment company. The tracheostomy tube should then be sent to my home. In 2 days, the tracheostomy tube should arrive at my home and then I can change out the tracheostomy tube. Unfortunately this rarely happens. Instead, I often have to scramble to find a new tracheostomy tube online. #lifewithavent #trach #india
