The Ultimate morning routine? Does one even exist... well in a bid to a chief science lead optimisation I attempted to complete Andrew Hubermans Morning routine to see if it was actually worth it and if waking up at 5:30 or before 6:00 is even worth it.
And as some who has spent the last 3 years trying to optimise my own personal morning routine I felt that I was the perfect lab rat.
In this video I discuss the pros and cons of each step and then also the science behind each step. If you would like me to dig out the papers for each one please let me know :)
The routine consists of:
5:30 wake up
salt water
10 minutes of sun exposure
1 hour exercise
cold shower
90 minutes of uninterrupted focus (without phone)
a 20 minute nap
and intermittent fasting until 12
